Invite a friend to Institute
Seminaries and Institutes of Religion are launching a collaborative effort with the Missionary Department to encourage youth and young adults to “invite a friend” to Seminary and Institute.
More than 55,000 friends of the Church are enrolled in seminary and institute classes worldwide. By participating and deepening their conversion to Jesus Christ, many feel inspired to enter into covenants. Data shows that approximately one in three enrolled friends chooses to be baptized.
Sending invitations to seminary and institute is a simple and effective way to participate in the gathering of Israel.
As institute teachers, we are all invited to participate in this effort. In doing so, each of us can contribute to increasing enrollment, which will lead to a deeper conversion to Jesus Christ.
To assist you in this effort, here are some ideas for participation:
Review approved resources (videos, banners, posters, social media resources, etc.)
Engage the students in your classes and discuss with them ideas for putting this effort into practice.
Plan to show the inspirational video to students in your classes. Also include the other resources in communications with your students.
Leverage resources by encouraging and inspiring your students to invite friends to your program in an appropriate manner.
